Inspired by Jaydra Johnson’s award-winning essay collection, Low: Notes on Art & Trash, I’ll be moderating a discussion about making art that confronts structural barriers, such as capitalism, misogyny, climate crisis, and more. The panel will feature Johnson herself; Elizabeth Cooperman, for her work in Woman Pissing; and Eula Biss, for her book, Having and Being Had.
